Don't shave for at least 2-3 weeks before your wax — the hair needs to be about a quarter-inch long for the wax to grip properly. Avoid caffeine and alcohol the day of your appointment since they can make your skin more sensitive. Exfoliate gently 24 hours before to help prevent ingrown hairs. Wear loose, comfortable clothing — your skin will thank you afterward.
During Your Wax
Your esthetician will cleanse the area, apply premium hard wax in small sections, and remove it quickly. The whole process takes about 30 minutes. Yes, there's some discomfort — but it's brief and gets easier with each visit. We use techniques to minimize pain and keep you comfortable throughout.
After Your Wax
Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Skip the gym for a day. Exfoliate gently 3-4 days after to prevent ingrown hairs. Results typically last 3-4 weeks, and the hair grows back finer and softer each time.
